We are Cultured Cosmetics, a brand born in South Africa. I’m Aaliyah, the founder- also born in South Africa. Like all good origin stories ours starts in a dark time. I was going through a tough time mentally and emotionally. I went through something traumatic that made it difficult for me to be comfortable in my body and the only way I found sanity was through skin and body care. I knew I wanted to share this feeling of relief with more people, so I started recommending it. While it was helping me and a lot of other people through difficult times, it was really expensive to get all the products from different brands.
